Holiday Coma

Woo. What a whirlwind of a weekend. It was filled with food, family and fun. Ella got to meet three new family members this weekend.

Great Aunt Kath (Bad pic, but I haven’t uploaded from my camera yet.)

She was great this weekend, though a bit overwhelmed by all of the people and how loud things got at my Dad’s house. I think she’s also starting to develop a little bit of seperation anxiety which is the perfect thing to happen before I leave her for the first time ever this weekend. Tear…yes, freaking out.

The Turkey Trot was a no go for me. I ran an awful two miles on Wednesday which made my chest hurt for the rest of the day and evening. I knew that if I couldn’t manage that, the 4 mile Trot was out of the question. I did go for a few nice walks around the open space by the parent’s house.

I think my cold is gone other than a few coughs and sniffles here and there. Thank goodness, this thing just lingered like a bad hangover. I have to get back on track this week. The pressure is really on because we’re headed to California next month for a little vacation where a swimsuit will be worn…eek!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
