Back in the Saddle

I’m not sure how it’s possible, but I actually got less sleep at my sales conference than I do at home. Oh wait, it might be because my coworkers are crazy and we stayed out until the wee hours of the morning. Tuesday night, well Wednesday morning, I got 2.5 hours of sleep. Total. For the whole night. 3:30-6 am. Not smart. Luckily I had a 4.5 hour plane ride to catch a few zz’s on. I was out cold before the safety demonstration.

Between the meetings and late nights, I did not exercise a single time. Unless walking from room to room counts. I ate and drank too much, caught a glimpse or two of the beach…


I rode on a boat…


But I did not exercise.

My body feels exhausted and heavy which isn’t suprising since the scale indicated I put on 4lbs on this trip, oops. I’m home and need to get back on track so that I’m ready for my next half in just over two weeks. Finger crossed the weather will be nice enough to plop Ella in the stroller and go for a run around the neighborhood. If nothing else, my legs have had time to recover from last weekend, right?
