Disconnnected

I rarely disconnect myself from work, my phone, social media, computers, etc. unless I’m out of the country. I always feel the need to be connected to the world around me and in-turn often feel chained to my various devices. Well, I decided the holidays were a perfect time to put the computer away, let me phone lose power, and just spend time with my family. It has been amazing.

There is a lot to catch up on. We spent a wonderful weekend in Lincoln, a brief and tasty Christmas Eve with my dad, stepmom, brother and sister, plus Josh’s sister Shana’s family. This was followed by an entire week up in the mountains were we skied, snow tubed, sledded, ate, played games, tried to run and enjoyed each other’s company.

I think it was filled with everything this holiday season should have been – family, food and fun.

I hope you and yours had an amazing holiday and Happy New Year!
